The exhibition Obxectos de desexo. Surrealismo e deseño, 1924 - 2020 explores the exchange and dialogue between surrealist art and contemporary design over the last 100 years. It brings to Compostela iconic works by artists such as Man Ray, Salvador Dalí, Giorgio de Chirico or Le Corbusier, and also by great names in contemporary design: from Ray Eames to Ingo Maurer, Gae Aulenti or Frederick Kiesler, among many others. The works on display come for the most part from the collections of the Vitra Design Museum (in the German town of Weil am Rheim), but also from other international collections such as those of the Fondation Le Corbusier in Paris, the Fondazione Giorgio and Isa De Chirico in Rome, the Design Museum Den Bosch in Holland or the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, among many others.
