We are lending the space to the Alliance française de Santiago de Compostela to hold the exhibition ‘Le monde sans fin’ based on the work of the same title by Jean-Marc Jancovici and Christophe Blain. This work is the result of a meeting between Christophe Blain, an illustrious comic author, and Jean-Marc Jancovici, an engineer specialising in energy and climate. This graphic novel presents a profound and humorous reflection on the causes and consequences of climate change. It was a great success when it was first published in French in 2021.
Translated into several languages, it was the best-selling book in France in 2022, where more than 500,000 copies were purchased.
The Institut français wanted to adapt the comic into an eco-designed exhibition to help raise awareness of the challenge of the ecological transition around the world at the sites of the Instituts français, the Alliances françaises and their partners.
The exhibition addresses the main themes of the graphic novel, energy and climate, to help us better understand the ecological crisis in which we are immersed and proposes possible ways of action and reaction.
Let us discover the causes and consequences of climate change from the authors.
