Imagination as a refuge, inspiration and fundamental source of the creative process, is the premise from which IMAXINARIA, IV edition of the International Exhibition of Contemporary Illustration, brings to the Afundación headquarters in Santiago de Compostela, one more year, what is being done in the field of illustration worldwide.

Artists with a high multidisciplinary profile, coming from different sectors such as painting, comics, mural, graffiti, animation, fashion, graphic design or tattoo, and who have in illustration their main means of expression, are participating in the exhibition.

Under the title ANIMiiC, a series of activities are proposed parallel to the exhibition, such as the ANIMiiC Sessions with the Galician filmmaker David Hidalgo Omil. David Hidalgo, in addition to participating in the exhibition, is one of the most personal and original creators of short films today, who has won numerous awards for his short films.
