Hamelin

Once upon a time there was a beautiful city called Hamelin. The city was full of rats. Until someone played beautiful music". The rough version of the story is more believable and more like the world we live in. In our world, children are the first to pay. They pay for the vices of the elders, the lies of the elders. In this sense, the Hamelin that does not know how to protect its children is like many cities in our world. Mayorga approaches the subject of pederasty with language and scenes full of ellipses, where allusions are made to things, where the spectator must do his part to interpret, to imagine, to fill in the silences. He approaches the subject in a very subtle way, the silences of the characters enclose great truths, he avoids foul language and bets on an active spectator who imagines beyond what is shown on stage.
