We celebrate the Cultural Heritage Day with the workshop ‘Cartografías persoais’ by María Meijide. Make your own personal cartography. A drawn map of your town, community or environment. An attractive workshop where the young participants will acquire knowledge through creation.
The activity will begin with a commented projection of images of illustrated maps and travel notebooks from different periods. Thus, this theoretical part will link concepts from the history of art and drawing techniques now applied to the representation of our environment.
In the practical part, the pupils will trace their own route. A plastic itinerary with drawing, colour and collage notes that will become a representation in the form of a map.
In short, an attractive workshop in which to acquire knowledge and develop skills through creation.
In the assembly hall. For 12 children aged 6 to 9. Those interested can collect their invitations at the library information desk 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
