The year 2022 marks the centenary of the birth of Carlos López García-Picos (1922-2009), a composer from Betanzos who emigrated to Buenos Aires and studied in Paris.

The exhibition, which opens next Tuesday 14th at the Colegio de Fonseca, brings together the different facets of the composer's personality: as a musical creator in contact with the avant-garde in Galicia, Buenos Aires and Paris, as a choir conductor in these two cities, as a promoter of musical associations on both sides of the Atlantic and as a figure of Galicianism in Buenos Aires.
