Arnaldo Antunes + banda | MATE
Arnaldo Antunes presents a unique show with his band, with which he travels through his musical career of more than 40 years.
Poet, singer and composer, he was born in São Paulo in 1960. He was a member of the group Titãs, with which he recorded seven albums, and began his solo career in 1992, with which he made another 18 albums.
He later joined the group Tribalistas together with Marisa Monte and Carlinhos Brown and, in recent years, released ‘Lágrimas en el Mar’, together with the Pernambuco pianist Vitor Araújo, and the albums ‘El Real Resiste’ (2020) and ‘RSTUVXZ’ (2018).
To celebrate this legacy, Arnaldo Antunes prepared a special show with his band, whose repertoire includes classics from his career such as ‘La casa es sua’, ‘Socorro’, ‘Passa em Casa’ (Tribalista), ‘El Pulso’ (Titãs), ‘Comida’ (Titãs).

The “Xenerais da Ulla” is the most outstanding feature of the Ulla region’s traditional Carnival. It has been held in the surroundings of Santiago since the first half of the 19th century: the “Xenerais” (generals) ride on horseback, dressed in colourful military garments similar to those of that time, but they also include purely carnivalesque adornments, which the horses also wear.
Christian B is at the controls of the ship that transports us to some of the best musical eras, with the hits of LOS40 Classic.
