HERITAGE NIGHT - HERITAGE SCENE
Adelaide lives and works in the moon. Mermaid in winter and witch in summer, she raises her voice in an incantation. Her classical musical training is interwoven with her training in Fine Arts and her performative nature. The result is a fresh, delicate and risky bet in which the limits and possibilities of the voice are explored.
The Catalan singer, producer and lyricist released her second album, Múerdago, on 19 July. Her sound is an ASMR labyrinth full of sighs, growls and raging desires, an experimental, eclectic and avant-garde mix that holds the voice as the protagonist. Loaded with many questions and few answers, its silky sonic mantras range from ambient choral to the darkest, most baroque electronica. The album's sensory vocals and meticulous production expose an intrinsic journey guided by the artist, who serves as a rhapsode.
On this work, the artist is joined by Manos Lo and Pura Cadera as additional producers and was mastered by Rashad Becker.
The album premiered at Sónar 2024 with a hypnotic, pictorial and atmospheric set. It also passed through Waking Life (PT) and Poesia i +, leaving us looking forward to what's to come. He begins his journey at the Teatro Principal in Santiago de Compostela, and will then go on to Barcelona, the MIL Lisbon and Madrid.
