Two decades after the Prestige catastrophe, the USC's Concepción Arenal Library joins the commemoration of this anniversary through the exhibition '20 anos do Prestige. Esa cicatriz indelébel' (20 years of the Prestige. That indelible scar).
The exhibition aims to commemorate those fateful days that began on 13 November 2002, as well as its causes and consequences from different perspectives: journalistic, political, social or visual, among others, while highlighting the public outcry and the tide of volunteering that it brought with it. The exhibition also contains a small contribution to the mobilisation that took place at the USC in those days through the Plataforma Burla Negra, one of the more than 200 associations linked to the Plataforma Nunca Máis.
