The O Pino Hostel is located at km 19.1 in the 30th stage of the French Road, only 20 km from Santiago. Renovated in 2012, it is at the foot of the N-547 road (Santiago-Lugo), at the entrance of O Pedrouzo coming from Lugo.
It has a sleeping capacity of 126 (120 bunk beds and 6 adapted beds) in four rooms (common and double) and is open all year with an admission time from 1 to 10 pm, without the possibility of leaving after closing time. Pilgrims have to present their official pass (no bookings allowed) and it costs € 6.
It has a washing area, drying place, washing machine (€ 4.40), dryer (€ 1), lockers, first-aid kit, mobile phone signal, plugs for charging batteries, enclosed area for bikes and stable.
O Pedrouzo is a small village that has grown recently and therefore has no outstanding heritage features. It now offers most of the basic services that a pilgrim needs: ATMs, supermarkets, shops, bakeries, butcher’s, bars and restaurants, health centre and pharmacy.
