From Santiago, the tour progresses bordering the ría of Noia and Muros. After a walk along Muros, a seafaring village founded in the midle ages whose historical hull combines noble and seaworthy housings, we will stop at the beautiful San Francisco beach, in front of Monte Louro, where we will also visit an old fish factory, nowadays a restaurant, and have time for a coffee.
From there on, in our way to Finisterre, and after leaving the shelter of the ría (estuary), the majesty of the galician open sea will accompany us, and a wild and virgin landscape.
We will arrive Carnota, known by its huge hórreo and also a wonderful beach, the longest in Galicia. Leaving Carnota, there rises the granitic Monte Pindo, whose capricious forms, histories and legends, have turned it into one of the magic places of Galicia. In the heart of the mountain, we will arrive to Ézaro, where there comes to its end the Xallas river, joining the sea by a impressive fall, unique in Europe. Following the coast, we come to Finisterre, considered the end of the ancient world. Its lighthouse and rocky cliffs on the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean, have turned it into a mythical place. Free time to enjoy lunch in the port of Finisterre.
On the way back, we will stop at Ponte Maceira, picturesque town over the river Tambre, with a medieval bridge on the pilgrim way from Santiago to Finisterre and exuberant nature.
