39/ Clams Marinière


4-5 clams

Chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic
White wine
Hot pepper


Pour a genrous splash of oil into frying pan, add chopped onion and cloves of garlic and sauté.
Add white wine and allow to poach.
If you want to thicken sauce, add 1 small glass of flour.
Add saffron and pepper to mix (after blending).
Add open clams in water to entire mix, with the water used to open them.
