Galician Celiacs Asociation collaborates with SANTIAGO(é)TAPAS
The competition features 10 tapas suitable for persons that do not tolerate gluten.

Santiago de Compostela’s tapas competition, SANTIAGO(é)TAPAS, highlights its commitment to persons that do not tolerate gluten with 10 gluten-free tapas this year. The suitability of these tapas was endorsed by the Galician Celiacs Association.
These tapas and the corresponding establishments are identified by a special symbol in the Tapasporte, the competition booklet featuring the 109 competing tapas, the 56 participating establishments and the routes or (é)tapas where they can be found.
The association’s director, Isabel Capdevila, expressed satisfaction for this new feature, which enables celiacs to be included in everyday activities. From June 11 to July 4, local and visiting celiacs will be able to participate in SANTIAGO(é)TAPAS for the first time. The event is organised by the local tourism promotion company, Santiago Tourism, and promoted by Santiago City Council and the Compostela Catering Association.
