Spanish Cinema Loses Spectators

Spanish cinema has lost more than 3 million viewers, representing a loss of more than 12 million euros. Most of this decrease corresponded to commercial Americal films, although Spanish-language films also lost 860,000 spectators. However, the main box-office hits are still American: Meet the Fockers, Alexander the Great and Million Dollar Baby. El Penalty más largo del mundo is the only Spanish film in the top 25.
