Located at the headquarters of the Fundación Sotelo Blanco, on the road that goes to the airport of Santiago, housed two exhibition halls: one dedicated to temporary exhibitions and permanent collection.
The Museum collects different samples of Galician culture and focuses on the life of the peasants from the interior of Galicia. Most of the utensils and farming implements are from Terra de Caldelas, although it also has various pieces from Sarria and Ancares.
The permanent exhibition shows parts contextualized in their places of use, to make the understanding of the Galician popular culture more attractive for the visitor. You can see different Galician traditional offices as that of "curtidores", "canteiros" or "ferreiros". The different environments of a traditional Galician House can also be appreciated. There is also a place dedicated to the Galician emigration in the 20th century.
