Very close to Santiago: Vedra

The parish church of Ponte Ulla, dedicated to Santa María Magdalena, features Romanesque elements such as the semi-circular apse or gargoyles on the outside. In the south side, a chapel in the late ogival style was added in the 16th century; the frescos of the Annunciation on the church’s central arch are also from this time.
