Neighbouring the Convent of San Domingos de Bonaval and its park, the CGAC’s main attraction is its architecture, designed by Portugal’s Pritzker prize-winner Álvaro Siza. With open spaces, clean planes and the continuous presence of light, it houses a valuable art collection and contemporary exhibitions from all over the world. Its rooms and auditorium are open to small artistic events, meetings and congresses.
