Very close to Santiago: Touro

A 385-metre-high viewpoint offering clear views of Pico Sacro, Lavacolla Airport, different parishes in Touro and the nearby Farelo, Candán and Barbanza mountain ranges. At the top, there is an oval-shaped “castro” (Celtic settlement) made up of an enclosure defined by an embankment and an entrance terrace in the north part.

In the past, the summit of Monte San Sebastián housed the chapel of San Sebastián, which is not located at the foot of the mountain, where the “Romaría do Coto de Loxo” festivity is held every first Sunday in July.
