San Francisco Hotel Monumento

Located in Santiago de Compostela’s historic city centre, just 100 metres from the Cathedral. The hotel forms part of the old Convent of San Francisco, which was declared a “Site of Cultural Interest.”

The hotel opened in 2006 after being fully refurbished. Its architecture combines an impeccable and elegant design featuring cast iron, wood and stone.

Special mentioned should be made of San Francisco Hotel Monumento’s gastronomy. Traditional Galician cuisine, represented by fresh garden and sea produce, make San Francisco a point of reference.

 The “Comedor Monumental”, the convent’s former refectory, is a hall of matchless beauty for all kinds of banquets.

The “Auditorio Carlos V”, which housed the Court of Castile in 1520, is a unique setting for holding events. In between both places is the “Patio de Cristal,” a spacious covered cloister that can host different kinds of events.
