History
The brotherhood’s objective is worshiping and venerating Our Lady under the title of the Rosary.
It was founded in the 15th Century after the Dominican Alain de la Roche preached in Compostela.
Since the time of King Fernando and Queen Isabel, all spanish monarchs have been honorary members of this brotherhood. Alfonso XIII carried its holy calvary in 1909.
This brotherhood is one of a limited number that have their own chapel and cemetery.
