Both the statue of “Santo Cristo de la Unción” and that of “Nuestra Señora de la Serenidad” were made in the 20th Century by the Compostela sculptor Castor Lata.
The procession also includes the cross of “Los Infantes,” one of the brotherhood’s identifying symbols, which is carried by 22 children.

History
From 1974 to 1993, the brotherhood did not hold its procession due to different problems.
The brotherhood has twinned with the brotherhoods of “Nuestra Señora de las Angustias” in Ferrol, “La Santa Cena” in Baeza (Jaen) and “La Flagelación de Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Bondad y María Santísima del Consuelo.”
The following are honorary members: the Prince and Princess of Asturias, the city of Santiago, La Brilat, the La Salle brothers Tirso Verdugo and Salvador Revilla, and Juan José Cebrián Franco.
