On Saturdays from November to March, Santiago Tourism presents fun and participative workshops for boys and girls aimed at introducing them to the world of gastronomy.
Apart from gastronomy itself, the workshop considers, in an amusing way, educational concepts regarding health and healthy eating habits.
Since the evening sessions are held at the same time as the 'Tastings with Combination' activity, this means that adults can attend the tastings while their children are participating in the workshop.
Ages: 6 to 12 years.
Saturday, November 15: Crepes with chestnut puree.
Saturday, December 6: Christmas aperitif and marzipan.

An event declared a Festival of Galician Tourist Interest that receives an important number of visitors from all over Galicia every year. This festival was one of the first “filloa” (crepe) festivals held in Galicia, being centred on an exclusively Galician product, just like other traditional products accompanying it (honey, chorizo…), although there are similar desserts in other regions and countries. In view of its age, we can determine that it originated as a genuine promotion of this characteristic Entroido (Galician Carnival) product.
