A conference by the Nobel Prize laureate in Physics Heinrich Rohrer opens the scientific programme 'Conciencia'. Rohrer (Switzerland, 1933), along with his colleague, Gerd K. Binnig, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1986 for his work in scanning tunneling microscopy.
