Gastronomy Tour
Gastronomy Tour

Santiago, as the capital of Galicia, exemplifies all the tradition and rich gastronomy of a cuisine admired for the quality of its sea and farm products. The tour goes around traditional grocer’s shops and visits the very genuine and popular ’Mercado de Abastos’ (Food Market), which is also a monumental site and the second-most visited place after the Cathedral. Thanks to the guide’s explanations, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of Galicia’s gastronomic culture and the Atlantic diet, as well as the secrets of the most typical foods (shellfish and fish, meat, wine and cheese, etc) and cooking methods.

The visit ends with a tasting of 100% Galician products.
