Santiago will host another Gastronomic Forum
The Forum will be held from February 20 to 24, 2010. It will feature the presence of some of the world's best chefs, including Ferran Adriá, Pierre Gragnaire, Jacob Mielcke or Bernard Lahousse.

After the successful Forum held in 2008, with more than 15,000 visitors and more than 150 exhibitors, the Forum is moving to Santiago’s Exhibition Site with 6,000 m2 of exhibition space. Organised by Santiago Tourism and Pep Palauy, von Arend & Associats, the new Forum will feature the participation of cuisine experts such as Ferran Adrià (Catalonia), the brothers Joan and Josep Roca (Catalonia), Enero Atxa (Basque Country), Pedro and Marcos Morán (Asturias), Pierre Gagnaire (France), Ernst Knam (Milan), Jacob Mielcke (Denmark), Bernard Lahousse (Belgium) and Chakall (Portugal), among others. A programme for all tastes This year’s Forum will feature more workshops (up to eight per day), with live cooking and sampling of the final results. The Auditorium will also host shorter sessions to familiarise those in attendance with outstanding chefs. The event will also include Dialogues on themes of interest, the WineForum, SweetForum and e-Forum, with the 3rd European Meeting of Gastronomy Bloggers and the 1st Gastronomy Internet Prize. Weekend On Saturday, the Forum leaves the exhibition site and moves to the city, where numerous activities will be held: tastings with combination, 2nd Octopus Chef Competition, gastronomy tours, gastronomy films, Galician Cuisine exhibition and workshops at the Mercado de Abastos (food market).
On Sunday, back at the exhibition site, gastronomy enthusiasts will be able to enjoy special activities and the popular Children’s Forum. The final programme will soon be presented in Santiago de Compostela. In the meantime, the event has its own web, http://www.forumsantiago.com/ as well as its own profile on Twitter and Facebook with more than 500 fans.
