Santiago Tourism Opens Registration for `Red Jackets´
This service will provide visitors with information at different points throughout the city from July 20 to August 31.

To meet the demand for tourist information during the high season, this year Santiago Tourism is again organising a group of volunteers who will serve, from July 20 to August 31, as `mobile informers´in Compostela´s old town streets and squares.
The `Red Jackets´are well known, not only because of their colourful uniform but also because of their invaluable help they provide every summer by informing tourists and pilgrims about the city´s tourism and leisure activities, accommodation, transport, addresses and a lot more.
Those interested should be over 18 and be able to speak Galician, Spanish and English (other languages will be taken into account). More information is available from the Santiago Tourism office (Rúa do Vilar, 63, from 9 am to 9 pm) or by e-mailing ot@santiagoturismo.com before July 10.
